BYE BYE WASHINGTON!

Today we went to Washington DC. First, we saw the Capitol from the outside, and then we went to the American History Museum, where you could see some of the dresses worn by the wives of all the presidents of USA. Later we went to the Natural History Museum and finally we visited the Air and Space Museum .

GEORGE WASHINGTON
He was the first president and at the same time he was a farmer, so it was very difficult for him to be the two things at the same time . He was the dominant military and political leader of the new United States of America from 1775-1797.He had a big garden about thirty football fields. He had fences built in the garden so that deer would not pass.
After retiring from the presidency in March 1797, Washington returned to Mount Vernon with a profound sense of relief. He devoted much time to farming.
Today, Washington's face and image are often used as national symbols of the United States.

MOUNT VERNON ETA ALEXANDRIA

Gaur astelehena, irailak 20, 8:30etan autobusa eskolan hartu eta Mount Vernonera abiatu gara. Han bertan autobusak utzi gaitu eta sartu garenean emakume batek Mount Vernoni buruz zenbait gauza azaldu dizkigu. Mount Vernon, George Washingtonen (Estatu Batuetako lehen presidentea)
jaiotetxea da. Mount Vernonen, bere emaztea eta bere emaztearen semeak bizi ziren.
George Washingtonen etxeak eta lorategi guztiek, 3000 futbol zelaien tamaina dute. Etxea, oso koloretsua da barrutik . Logela bakoitzak kolore desberdinak eta biziak ditu.
Ondoren, Old Town Alexandriara joan gara. Alexandrian bakoitza gure kabuz ibili gara eta zenbait erosketa egin ditugu.
Alexandria EEBBko hiri garrantzitsuenetakoa izan zen, baina gaur egun Washington DC da. Arratsaldeko lauetan denok berriro elkartu gara eta autobusak eskolara eraman gaitu gure familiarekin elkartzeko.

We had a very nice day.
On Sunday we went to a corn maze , which can be seen in the picture,
and we also saw a farm with a lot of animals.
